Wir haben so lange darauf gewartet; endlich geht es los. Viel zu früh geht es am Sonntag um 6 Uhr in Richtung Flughafen. Die Schlange leider länger als erwartet und vor Aufregung bekommt man dann nach dem Sicherheitscheck keinen Bissen runter. Wenn wir nur gewusst hätten, wie schlecht das Essen im Flieger sein würde, hätten wir vielleicht doch etwas mehr gegessen. Dank gutem Entertainment ist der Flug nicht ganz so langweilig, aber trotzdem „zu lange“. Dann am Ziel der „Schock“: nach fast 1,5 Stunden am Kofferband fehlt am Ende ein Koffer. Den hat Airfrance wohl leider beim Umstieg in Paris vergessen. Dabei hatte der Flug bereits Verspätung wegen fehlendem Gepäck. Tja, hätten vielleicht noch 5 Minuten mehr sein dürfen. Also heisst es schier endlose Formulare ausfüllen. Deswegen waren wir dann auch sehr spät im Hotel. Im nahen Denny‘s haben wir zu Abend gegessen und danach ging es auch sofort ins Bett.
We waited for so long; finally the day came. Much to early on Sunday we start at 6 a.m. to the airport. The queue is longer then expected and after the security check we hardly get anything down for breakfast. If we had known what the food on the flight would be we might have tried harder. Thanks to the good entertainment on board the flight wasn’t boring, but still „to long“. Then shock at the destination: after almost 1,5 hours at the luggage belt we still miss one of our suitcases. Airfrance must have lost it while we changed planes in Paris. Although the flight wasn’t in time cause of missing luggage. Well, should have waited another 5 minutes. So we waited in line to claim that it was lost and therefore we were very late in the hotel. After we ate dinner in the nearby Denny‘s we went straight to bed.
